📦 Shipping
Where are packages shipped from?
All orders are shipped directly from Tokyo, Japan. We handle everything in-house to ensure your items are packed carefully and dispatched promptly.
When will my order be shipped?
All orders are dispatched within 2 weeks of your order being confirmed. We will notify you by email once your order has been shipped, along with your tracking number. If you need your order urgently, please contact us via the contact form and we will do our best to prioritize your shipment.
Which countries do you ship to?
We currently ship to the following countries. We have carefully selected low-risk destinations to ensure safe and reliable delivery.
United States / United Kingdom / Australia / New Zealand / Canada / France / Denmark / Finland / Belgium / Czech Republic / Netherlands / Poland / Sweden / Switzerland / Austria / Norway / Hong Kong / Singapore / Taiwan / South Korea / Malaysia / Thailand / Indonesia
We do not ship to regions with ongoing conflict or high delivery risk. This list may be updated without prior notice.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on your country and chosen shipping method. As a general guide:
EMS / DHL / FedEx: 3–7 business days
Standard Air Mail: 7–21 business days
Please note these are estimates only. Delays due to customs or carrier issues may occur and are outside our control.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of your order, your destination country, and your chosen shipping method. Please proceed to checkout to see the exact shipping fee.
Can I track my package?
Yes! Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. You can also check your order status by logging into your account on our website. We recommend tracking your package regularly on the carrier's official website.
Are there customs duties or import taxes?
TAKARA JAPAN TOKYO covers all customs duties and import taxes on your behalf. You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery. We handle the necessary documentation to ensure a smooth customs clearance process.

Are the products authentic?
Yes. All products sold on TAKARA JAPAN TOKYO are 100% authentic and sourced directly from Japan. We do not sell counterfeits or replicas.
What condition are the products in?
Product conditions are clearly listed on each product page. New items are factory-sealed. For pre-owned items, photos and condition notes are provided. If you have questions about a specific item, please contact us before purchasing.
Can I request a product that is not on your site?
Absolutely! We offer a custom order service. Simply contact us via the contact form with the item name, desired condition, and your budget. We will do our best to source it for you and create a personalized product listing.
What happens if an item is out of stock?
Due to inventory timing, some items may occasionally appear in stock but have already sold out. In such cases, we will contact you promptly and offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, including:

All transactions are securely processed and encrypted by Stripe.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellations are possible before your order is shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible via the contact form. Note that a 10% cancellation fee applies. If the cancellation is caused by our error, a full refund will be issued with no fee.
Where can I check my order status?
You can check your order status anytime by logging into your account page on our website. Once your order is shipped, a tracking number will also be sent to your registered email address.

Can I return or get a refund?
Returns and refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please submit your request within 1 week of receiving your order via the contact form, including your order number and photos. For full details, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy.
My item arrived damaged. What should I do?
We're sorry to hear that. Please contact us immediately via the contact form with your order number and clear photos of the damage. If the damage was caused by us or the carrier, we will cover all costs and arrange a replacement or refund.

We aim to reply to all inquiries within 1–2 business days. Please note that due to time zone differences and Japanese public holidays, there may occasionally be a short delay — but we respond to every message.
